Guaranteed Contact Lenses Program
Unfortunately, not everyone's eyes can wear contact lenses. Occasionally, unforeseen situations arise that cannot be determined prior to actually wearing the contact lenses for a while. We've developed this guarantee to make the fitting as risk free as possible, yet allow for additional visits should it become more complicated.
Should you be trying contact lenses for the first time ever, and if you are unable to insert and remove the lenses at the training session, and feel that they aren't going to work for you, we will refund you any fees related to the contact lenses (i.e., fitting and/or material fees). Should the fitting of contact lenses be unsuccessful after you have worn them outside of the office, the material fees (excluding opened boxes of multi-packaged lenses) will be refunded, and service fees related to the fitting of contact lenses will be retained to cover any related office visits.
This encourages you to let the doctor do his job, and to let him try different types of lenses should you be unhappy. We pride ourselves on the extra time we take fitting contact lenses, and we continue until you are happy with your contact lenses, even if that means trying numerous different brands or types!
But I've Been Told I Can't Wear Contact Lenses!
For those of you who have been told a long time ago that you can't wear contact lenses, it's time for an updated, second opinion! Give us a call, there's so many new lenses and materials, there's almost no one who can't wear contact lenses these days! New technology can be very exciting, yet so many people make decisions about contact lenses based on outdated information. Some doctors don't like harder cases, so they tend to discourage people into trying them, or they simply tell them they just aren't a candidate. Almost everyone who is motivated enough can be fit for contact lenses these days. Dr. Vosseteig will truly custom fit your eyes with contact lenses using his state-of-the-art corneal topographer.
Reasons to consider contact lenses:

- don't get scratched up or dirty
- don't get in the way for sports
- don't slip down your face or need adjustment
- Disposables allow for convenience and minimal care.
- Cosmetic improvement.
- Contacts allow better performance in sports and an active lifestyle.
- Allow for the use of plano sunglasses
Tired of dry, uncomfortable contact lenses?
Dr. Vosseteig fits the only contact lens approved by the FDA, for those who experience mild discomfort or symptoms relating to dryness - Proclear Compatibles.
A study featured in Optometry and Vision Science in 1997 found that over 50% of contact lens wearers experience dryness. The symptoms and mild discomfort associated with dryness are often described by wearers as tired, itchy eyes, particularly at the end of the day. Most contact lens wearers accept these as a normal part of the lens wearing experience. Advancement in contact lens material science provides new options to wearers for reducing these symptoms. Unlike ordinary contact lenses, Proclear Compatibles provide wearers a unique benefit - a more comfortable wearing experience due to increased moisture retention and resistance to deposits. Proclear Compatibles are made with an innovative patented material that mimics the key components of your eye's natural cells. If you're a lens wearer or considering contact lenses, you deserve the latest in contact lens technology.
